Irs - I called to check on my refund

I filed my taxes in February and was told.i had to verify my identity so I did and now am being told I have to wait an additional NINE WEEKS at least to get my refund then when I called the IRS to check.my status the agent was rude and when I asked to.speak to her supervisor she hung up on me Angry

Irs - Disrespectful

The woman who assisted me started off by saying an extremely patronizing comment that came from me not understing what she was asking. She treated me like I was intellectually below her and I didn't appreciate it. She made mistakes on information I clearly and patiently gave her several times. The whole phone call could have probably been handled better by an automated system.
