I've been calling the IRS every day for two weeks! I've been n hold for 30 mins to 1 hour before the line disconnects.

Today I've been holding for more than 11/2 hours with the annoying music. I have to get a response which cannot be handled by the online system, as I'm quite certain my matter will be duplicated in their system if I chose that option.

I've received conflicting information from their multiple systems and do not want further complications. This is the worst customer service experience I've had in my lifetime! Why do we have this agency?

They should have a total overhaul! Any presidential candidate that promised to scrap them had my vote!

Reason of review: conflicting infrmation.

IRS Cons: Organization, Bad customer service.

Ya know who doesn't have problems with the IRS? People that pay their taxes and aren't scam artists.

In more than two decades of working, I've never had a single reason to call the IRS.

What did you do? I noticed you conveniently, probably "accidentally" left that part out.

You have to be kidding me. I am in the same boat due my ex not claiming my support on HER returns and I get audited.

Now I am in an endless loop of trying to get this resolved, even though she sent in an amended return.

This is crazy. You have to work there and are trolling sites instead of answering the phone!
